It is with immense excitement that we announce this very special event. Our liaison with Funkhaus isn’t happening on a whim. It is the culmination of a long held desire to invite artists to a place capable of magnifying their splendour.

"From afro to techno, and a lot more in between.

Because Africa is mother of beat, and beat is tempo. May your hearts beat on our tempo and steps groove with our flow. On an acid trip around Afro rhythms, travelling from Nigeria, Ethiopia, Congo to Ghana, cruising on electronic sounds, cosmic rhythmics and psychedelic vibrations."

A vision of celebration enjoyed by many. Now the party is extended in the perfect setting: the iconic Funkhaus.

The event will start with an outdoor get together in the afternoon, free to all on the banks of the river. At nightfall, the series of concerts will begin in the majestic Saal 1, to merge after midnight into the 'endless ball' in the Foyer, till the sun comes up again...

We hope to welcome all our dear regulars as well as the new, the curious, the interested and the spontaneous, to join us for a vibrant moment of exceptional music.
