Join us in the renowned Hall 1 to experience the music of WILLIAM BASINSKI (W.P.) THE NENT, SKREI, live, as part of the Funkhaus Session series.  

SKREI is the solo project of Giuseppe Capriglione. His live set is made up with loop-tape, guitar and synthesizer. Processing and working with multi-tracks tape recorder, he creates an alchemic mixture of Noise/Drone sounds.  In 2014 he founded the label and promotion agency “Metzger Therapie”. THE NENT is an audio/video project of the visual artist and music producer Vince Gagliardi. The new series of live-sets “N_#” is made of different compositions, based on field recordings and percussive samples, in which vast spaces and choking feelings are evoked by beating a dark palette of sad memories and hollow sounds. His debut album will be released in 2018. Since 2 years he is art directing the events of  Metzger Therapie in Berlin. In occasion of the event at Funkhaus on the 12th January 2018 he will present the new composiiton "N_04 [live A\V ]“.
WILLIAM BASINSKI is a classically trained musician and composer who has been working in experimental media for over 30 years in NYC and most recently, California. Employing obsolete technology and analogue tape loops, his haunting and melancholy soundscapes explore the temporal nature of life and resound with the reverberations of memory and the mystery of time. His epic 4-disc masterwork, The Disintegration Loops received international critical acclaim and was chosen as one of the top 50 albums of 2004 by Pitchfork Media. His new work will be premiered at Funkhaus, and will be released later in 2018. Please find in attachment the photos of the artists.
